About Me

Banan Shakarnah
Brand Specialist
My journey started with graphic design and a degree in Communication & Media Studies, where I developed an early understanding of how ideas, messages, and visual language shape the way people perceive and connect with things.
But working with real businesses gradually changed the way I saw design.
The more I worked with products, brands, and customers, the more I became interested in what happened beyond the visual identity. I wanted to understand why some brands grow while others struggle, how a product becomes meaningful to its audience, and how the decisions made behind a brand ultimately influence the success of the business.
That curiosity took me deeper into branding, marketing, product development, retail, and eventually strategy.
Over the years, I had the opportunity to work on brands from different angles—from developing products and packaging to building retail experiences, shaping marketing, establishing digital presence, and developing brands from the ground up. Being involved in these different parts of the business taught me something fundamental:

a BRAND DOESN’T SIT ON TOP OF A BUSINESS. IT CONNECTS THE BUSINESS
It connects what a company believes with what it offers. It connects the product with the customer, the strategy with the experience, and the business ambition with the way the market perceives it.
That realization shaped the way I work today.
I approach branding not simply as a discipline of identity and communication, but as a strategic business tool. My role is to understand the bigger picture, identify where a brand can create meaningful value, and then translate that strategic direction into positioning, marketing, communication, and creative experiences that people can actually see, feel, and engage with.
My background in communication taught me how people receive and interpret meaning.
Design taught me how to make that meaning tangible.
Working inside businesses taught me how brands affect commercial reality.
Strategy brought these perspectives together.
Today, I work at the intersection of brand strategy, marketing, and creative execution—helping businesses not only look the part, but understand what they stand for, where they are going, and how their brand can help them get there.
